St. Patrick’s Day Printables

Being that I’m Irish, I love all things related to St. Patrick’s Day….green beer (yes, that is what came to mind first), festive shamrock crafts, clever shirts….and anything that brings luck my way.  It’s such a fun-spirited holiday and I certainly loved celebrating it as a kid.  My mom would always make sure the milk in the fridge  had “turned green”….with the magic of food coloring (unbeknownst to me, of course) and I was always excited to pour it into my cereal!  When I was a teacher, I always saw the 2nd grade students squeal in excitement when they walked into their classroom to see a trail of gold glitter surrounding their leprechaun traps, indicating they ALMOST caught the tricky little man!

From delicious food and treats to cute and colorful decorations, there is a lot to make this year’s event a special one!  Something I love to do around the holidays is send care packages….since my son isn’t quite old enough yet to bring treats to school.  Today I’m sharing some FREE PRINTABLES for you to use!  These are a great addition to add to that package you’re sending off to family or friends.
Kids will LOVE opening up their mail to this fun surprise.

The best part about these printables is that they don’t HAVE to be used just for St. Patrick’s Day.  They can be used as party favors for a rainbow themed bash.  They are very easy to make and require minimal supplies.  The Wilson brand pretzel bags and treat bags can be found at Michaels and an Amazon.  Then, you add the candy or cereal of choice and staple the bag topper for closure!
You can use the pretzel sized bags with Lucky Charms or Rainbow Twizzlers and
use either of the two bag topper options!
Because of the various versions I’ve provided below, you can give these little sweet treats to your coworkers, relatives, teachers, neighbors, coaches, nanny or daycare provider….or anyone important that you want to recognize, telling
him/her how LUCKY you are to know them!!
For the treat sized bags, I added skittles and rolos with the RAINBOW BAG TOPPER!
A quick note for assembling that makes it easier for you.  With the skittles, I put them into a separate treat bag of its own and fold the top over.  Then, I put that bag inside another treat bag with the rolos at the bottom.  This way the two candy types were separated and wouldn’t mix together, as shown in the picture with the skittles on top and the rolos on the bottom.  It just looks more visually appealing 🙂
Each Bag Topper is double sided, with a cute message and graphic on the front and the message portion on the back (which includes a TO and FROM section for personalizing!)
