End of Year Gift for TEACHERS!

Teacher Appreciation week is almost over, but it’s never too late to let an educator know how special they are!  This is the perfect present for teachers of any grade level, from preschool all the way to high school.  Daycare providers, swim coaches, dance teachers….you name it! This DIY Mason Jar gift, similar to the Mother’s Day Edition,
is super easy to make and very affordable!  Consider this a
gift that will brighten up someone’s day, helping them splash into summer!
All of the essentials for this little treat can be found at Target and will cost you about $20.  Yes, getting a gift card might be a touch quicker, but it’s not nearly as thoughtful!  Being a former teacher myself, a creative gift always went a long way and really made me feel appreciated.  To know someone made something for me was very touching!
To create a “Splash into Summer” theme, I wanted to add items that can be used in preparation for a pool day or things to help refresh and relax on a hot, sunny day!  One thing I made sure to do was find items that fit into the bright color scheme of pink, orange, or yellow….because it needs to have that cheerful vibe to it!

GIFT JAR ESSENTIALS

Mason Jar (Found in dollar spot)
EOS Strawberry Sorbet Lip Balm (Found in checkout lane!)
Crystal Light Liquid Drink Mix
Essie Nail Polish (Watermelon)
Purell Hand Sanitizer (Found in travel size section)
Banana Boat Sport Sunscreen (Found in travel size section)
Tropical Twist Trident Gum (Found in checkout lane!)
If you plan to use this as a Teacher Appreciation Gift, you can download these “Thank You” tags for free.  The smaller size is perfect to wrap around the lid with some cute ribbon or twine.  I poked a tiny hole at the top of the tag with a pin and pulled through the twine….easy peasy!  This requires hardly any work on your part.
The larger sized circular label can be printed on adhesive paper and used as a sticker on the front of the mason jar!  All stickers/tags can be downloaded for free below!
If you choose to give this gift at the very end of the school year, I would suggest using the “Happy Summer” tags like the ones below.   It’s vibrant and colorful….
and matches well with the items waiting inside.
I can promise that you won’t find a teacher out there that isn’t ready for summer come May/June!  The thought of sitting poolside with a cold beverage in hand (in their mason jar, of course) and the sun shining down is what helps get them through the last few weeks!  Help them get a fresh, fun start to their summer with this thoughtful gift!
