My favorite time of year is back and I couldn’t be more excited.  In my eyes, Fall is the best season….nothing beats it.  What better than the colorful scenery, spiced cider, college and Pro football, crock pot deliciousness, apple orchards and pumpkin farms, all of the festive decorations, wearing your favorite vest and pair of boots, and of course, HALLOWEEN and Thanksgiving!  That’s what I’m talking about.  Welcome back to TOP OF THE LIST TUESDAY series.  Today, I am super excited to be sharing with you all…..

With Halloween just a little over a month away, I wanted to share some special FREEBIES to help you get prepared for all of the fun celebrations!  Yes, these can be used by EVERYONE….not just parents and teachers.  If you plan to throw a big bash or host a party, you don’t want to miss out on the awesome beverage labels (beer and wine)!  If you have children of your own, nieces/nephews, grandchildren, or students, you’ve
got to check out the cute games and treat ideas below.

I mean….seriously!!  This is just too much.  I LOVE IT.  You have got to check out Popsicle Blog for details on how to make this DIY Halloween Trail Mix.  Kids will absolutely love this.  Okay, adults too!  I want to make it right now as I type this.  It is super creative, from the ghost poop to monster scabs…every kid, especially little boys, will surely want a share of this tasty treat!

blog is full of creative ideas like the one above.  This is my kind of project/craft…minimal supplies and no mess!  From Ghost Poop to Jack O Lantern seeds, you can really get your imagination going with these.  Teachers, how about a fun math counting activity with these?

I’m a big fan of any decoration sporting the traditional orange and black colors for Halloween.  I really like that these tags/prints come be printed in different sizes and serve a variety of purposes. The possibilities are near endless…all you need is a little creativity.  You can use them as stickers, labels, inserts for picture frames…and so on.  The Creativity Exchange offers other wonderful printables, too.  You’ve GOT to hop on over and check out their 2014 desktop calendar…and it’s free, too!  Yes, it’s your lucky day.

Fall Themed Scavenger Hunt

Who doesn’t love a scavenger hunt?!  I guess I’ll always be a kid at heart.  This fun activity by Moritz Fine Designs will allow you to spend time outdoors, enjoying nature and the beautiful scenery that accompanies Autumn.  If your kids are bored, this will surely keep them occupied and entertained!  What a great activity to promote curiosity and observation skills.  Be sure to stop by her FREEBIE tab for additional free fonts and printables as cute as this! 
Halloween Birthday Invitation
I just WISH I knew someone (child) who had a birthday in October.  I so badly want to make these invitations for their party.  Can they be ANY CUTER?  What a creative idea!  Seriously, you need to pass this on to anyone you know who is planning a party in the coming weeks for their little one.  AND…in order to see the interior of this card, stop by Seven Thirty Three Blog!  The inside is just as creative as the cover.  It won’t take long to put this little gem together, and the best part of it all…..it is FREE (just in case you forgot)!
